What is My Body Corporate?

My Body Corporate is an online communications resource that assists owners and residents get the most out of living in a body corporate community. It also helps the property manager and committee to do their essential work.

How do I access my community website?

Each member of your body corporate is invited to join. You will be asked to create a user name and password when you first visit the site.

Consider a name that helps others to know who you are when on the site. A good idea is to use a combination of your surname and or initials. Tenants and casual visitors do not need to register to browse public information.

Each time new content is added, you will receive email notification. A link will be provided for you to return to the site to read the full message and reply if necessary.

It is possible to turn off notifications for different areas by clicking which is located next to each topic area on your home page.

Who has access to the website?

Content is only visible to users with the appropriate level of access; Residents, Owners and the Committee, this is set by the administrator. It is important to post information to the appropriate area.

How do I add information to the website?

Anyone with appropriate access can post information and other messages to the web site. Click 'reply' to a previous message or create a 'new topic'. Give your topic a meaningful subject line to make it more helpful to others.

The best format to upload documents is PDF. You can also upload files in MS Word, Excel, .jpg and many others.*

How do I change my details?

To edit your user details, you must be logged in, then visit 'My settings'.

Who administers the site?

The site is run by your community, your owner's committee and the property manager have administrator access to your web site. Contact them if you have any difficulties.

Important!

Post information in the appropriate area so that people can find it later on.

Abide by appropriate community standards when posting information to your site or you may find yourself banned by the site administrator.

Do not disclose your password or share your user account with anyone. Other members of your household can register themselves to gain access to the site.
